Helping Hands Meal Packing

St. Jude Faith in Action and St. Edward Faith in Action will partnered to package over 14,000 meals for the hungry in the West African country of Burkina Faso. We worked side-by-side, young and old to pack nutritious meals for people suffering from food shortages and famine.  Catholic Relief Services (CRS) and Stop Hunger Now helped us organize this collaborative wide event.

FIA Partnership with YOUTH HARBORS

The mission of YouthHarbors is to create educational opportunities for high school students who are facing homelessness and without consistent support.  These young adults are resilient, but face tremendous barriers to their safety and stability on a daily basis.

YouthHarbors provides support to help these young adults finish high school, find stable housing, and apply to college or find job training so they can become employed and self sufficinet.  Currently 535 students in six Boston high schools are receiving support through YouthHarbors.  To learn more and to donate please use the following link: YouthHarbors 2016  or follow on Facebook
